I started this series when i was at my village [Selgaon,Betul (M.P)].I was with my D-SLR and thinking about what can I do something special in village, as a photographer i always think about photography [ sorry can help it :P ] , I always thinks for the composition and the framing. the best part of my vacation at village was that I can click anything for my personal photography {Apart from my commercial work}. I had 50 mm lens and a 5 in 1 reflector in my camera bag and believe me you don’t have to have lots of equipment for good photography i had only one lens one body and thank god one 5 in 1 reflector.

Tip :- 5 in 1 reflector is a must have Equipment if you want to shoot outdoor or street photos. It is really very helpful equipment, You can easily modify Sun-Light according to your subject .

_DSC6495I shared my view to some of my village friends that i want to shoot tribal people. People photography was in my mind and i was thinking about Portraits and tribal village in Betul district was untouched by any photographer. My friends helped me a lot in this project. My friends knew each person in tribal village too so somewhere it was a plus point for me because whenever i asked some one that i want to click some photos they easily get ready for the photo shoot. when i was thinking about this project i was worried about how can i ask villager specially tribal people that i want to click some of your photos, It is really hard to get yes from them because i am an outsider and they really don’t believe outsiders.I asked to many people and then i successfully got some clicks.

I want to tell you a story about this Old Couple photo. This old man was resting on the road and i was walking in his village for photography. My Dslr was in my hand and i asked this old man that can i please click your photo ? he saw me and then i don’t know suddenly he started crying, seriously that was weird i again asked old man ‘Baba can i please click your photo i like your face’ he was crying continuously and he told me that ‘Sahab Paisa nahi hai (Sir I don’t have money)’ i was totally blank at that moment and after a while  my friend come forward and told that old man that he will not charge you for your photos. I don’t know that you can see in this picture or not that he was crying when i clicked his photo. He was telling me again and again that i can’t pay you for this photo i don’t have money. I gave his some money for this shoot and told him that he is a good person and i will not gonna charge him for this photo. Sometimes it become hard to click photograph.
