Halloween is right around the corner and we decided to inspire you with a fashion editorial straight from a beautiful nightmare! If you’re looking to add a little edge to your fall wardrobe, then you should experiment with deconstructed clothing pieces to reinvent your look. Deconstruction fashion encompasses the growing trend of reinventing designer looks by essentially destroying them. You can easily achieve an edgy deconstructed style using the clothes right in your closet. If you’re daring enough, grab your scissors, needle, and thread and go to town with your old clothes to create new looks. Many designers are even releasing ready-to-wear collections that appear to be deconstructed. Whether you create your own deconstructed outfits or purchase them, its easy to spot deconstruction fashion by some key features. Clothes may appear to be incomplete or unfinished with frayed edges, unusual seams, exposed zippers, or even recycled pieces stitched together. We found the recent fashion editorial shot by 19-year old Polish photographer, Agnieszka Bugaj to be both stylish and sinister featuring futuristic deconstructed styles. Bugaj shot several fashion photos that appeared to be inspired by and staged in a run down mental institution. The models have an emotionally disturbed yet seductive attitude, while clad in high fashion deconstructed designer clothes. Check out some samples from Bugaj’s portfolio on TouchTalent below!
