‘Ink’ has left its mark on everything from religious manuscripts to books to labels to fortune cookies. Ancient cultures would work toward creating forms of ink to paint on cave walls, animal skins and even their own bodies. But even with all this there is so little anyone really knows about the magic that is ink.
So let me introduce to you this amazing artist Cristiano Teofili from Rome who has magic ink with him. Why magic ink you may ask, I will tell you why. Go to this artists page and I probably wouldn’t even have to explain, there’s magic in his fingers and the art he creates.
Cristiano creates art that is so haunting, so mesmerizing and ethereal in itself that each one who looks at it will definitely have a different story to interpret from it. Apart from all this, the detailing given to each one is pretty much mind blowing. Just in case you don’t believe me I think you should check it out for yourself and decide.
With every single one of his paintings he has a different and interesting story to tell. Very original, some a little sci fi, some quite haunting and some very artsy. Its somehow feels like the paintings delve deep into the mind of a person and their very deepest thoughts.
In short ink is such a tiny word, three letters, but it has played such a huge part on the stage of world history. So I am going to wind up with this quote from Mark Twain, here’s something from literature to brood over.
“The very ink with which all history is written is merely fluid prejudice”
– Mark Twain
